Growing up most of us relied on our parents as our financial mentor. However, in many cases our parents have not had any financial education either – so how can we expect them to be educating us?
We don’t get taught how to manage our finances or invest at school. Generally there are no extra-curricular activities at school to gain this invaluable education.
Some of us leave our financial decisions to others – like our financial planners, stock brokers and the like.
By far the best course of action is to find one or more financial mentors and learn from their successes.
But first you need to obtain at the very least a basic financial education – so that you are meeting the right people and understand what they are talking about when you do meet them.
You can begin your education with Jamie McIntyre’s homestudy program. Get your free introduction DVD here.
